A gateway to wholeness through Jesus Christ!

Welcome!

Martha's HouseMartha’s House is a Christian transition home where formerly incarcerated women focus on recovering from drug and alcohol abuse through faith-based activities. During the six-month to one-year program, residents receive instruction in life skills, such as positive parenting, proper work etiquette, finance, and spiritual discipline as they prepare for successful re-entry into society.  Because of this ministry, valuable lives are restored, families find healing, and the recidivism rate in South Carolina is reduced, all of which have a positive impact on the community.

Graduates/residents explain the impact of Martha’s House:

“Martha’s House has given me a 2nd chance at life and a 1st chance at sobriety.”

“Martha’s House has helped me to start a new life and have my family involved in my life.”

“Martha’s House helped me transition from jail to normal everyday life…If it wasn’t for Martha’s House, I wouldn’t have a safe place to go.”

“Martha’s House helped make it possible to bring my children back into my life.”

“Martha’s House has given my life back, teaching me about Jesus Christ and giving me the foundation of God’s love so I can go out in the world and become that productive member and let His light shine.”

“Martha’s House is a lifeline after being incarcerated for so long.”
